Organised by London Camera Exchange alongside Fujifilm, this full-day workshop offers photographers the opportunity to explore creative lighting techniques, gain practical experience and develop their confidence working in a professional studio environment.

Explore Creative Studio Lighting Techniques

Lighting plays an essential role in photography, from shaping a subject to creating mood, depth and atmosphere.

Throughout the workshop, Simon will guide participants through a range of intermediate studio lighting setups, demonstrating how different approaches can transform an image.

Working with a professional model, attendees will have the opportunity to put these techniques into practice, experiment with lighting arrangements and gain a better understanding of how to control light to achieve their creative vision.

Participants will also have access to Fujifilm's GFX and X Series camera systems and a selection of lenses to use throughout the day.

With over 35 years of experience in the photographic industry, Simon Burfoot brings extensive technical knowledge and practical expertise to every workshop.

As Technical Director at Elinchrom UK and a qualified lighting instructor, Simon has spent years helping photographers develop their understanding of photographic lighting.

Through his training company, The Light Doctor, he regularly delivers workshops designed to make lighting techniques more accessible and help photographers get the most from their equipment.

This workshop offers a great opportunity to learn directly from Simon, ask questions and develop your skills in a small-group setting.
